THE ALDIE HERITAGE ASSOCIATION'S FIRST EVER

ALDIE HISTORICAL ROAD RALLY

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2020

Rev up your engines and grind your gears,

Drive through Aldie's historical years.

Don't drive fast, but don't be slow,

Solve our clues and off you'll go!

Aldie's Road Rally is the game to play,

Challenge your neighbors and enjoy the day.

Clues, cars, and a great time,

Enjoy some food and a bottle of wine!

The Aldie Heritage Association is proud to announce the first-ever Aldie Historical Road Rally. The AHA Road Rally will provide a challenging, safe afternoon of fun experiencing the history and places of interest in the Aldie 20105 zip code. The AHA Road Rally starts in the Village of Aldie, where you will be given the clue for the first stop. At each stop you will receive the clue for the next stop. There’s a surprise in the middle, and each vehicle will go home with 2 takeaway meals from Big Daddy’s BBQ, a bottle of wine, water and soft drinks, and a certificate of completion. Additional adult and children’s meals are available for purchase at the time of registration. A list of restroom facilities will be provided.

This is not a race, but a fun, socially distanced way to see all that the Aldie area has to offer!

Tickets are $100 per vehicle and must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold on-site. The event is limited to the first 100 tickets sold and tickets must be purchased by October 9. The event is rain or shine, so no refunds will be given.  There is no limit to the number of individuals in each participating vehicle. Children must remain with parent, guardian, or adult at all times.

Additional Information . . .

Participants are to conduct themselves in accordance with Forward Virginia Phase Three Guidelines and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Virginia Department of Health, and Loudoun County Health Department. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining social distancing of 6 feet or more and wearing face coverings when outside of their vehicles.

By attending this event, participants assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Also, participants are asked to follow speed limits and traffic ordinances.
